Do you struggle following directions and reading maps? Argue with your friend or partner with whether it is left or perhaps right? Or are you wanting to know the ins and outs of an area without having to study about it yourself? If you said yes to any of these, a guided walk is for you!
Guided walks take the guess work out of walking. They provide you with a local guide and local knowledge of the area, allowing you the opportunity to look up, enjoy the stunning scenery on offer, chat to other walkers and all without worrying about the direction you are travelling in or if you are heading in the right direction at all.
Depending on your chosen trip, groups will be a maximum of 8-16 travellers.
Some trails are so incredibly remote, allowing you access to regions where only few others dare to walk and where perhaps you feel more comfortable knowing that you are under the guidance of an experienced local guide. Our guides work tirelessly to ensure your walk runs smoothly and that your questions and interests are answered.
A further advantage of going guided is meeting other like-minded travellers ready to experience the same walk. Perfect if you are worried about travelling on your own. Enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow walkers, swap stories, share laughter and memories as you walk New Zealand together, free in knowing that everything is taken care of for you.
If meeting people and learning about a region from a local sound like you, then join one of our great guided walks!
